·       Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Abridged). Published in 10 volumes. Volumes 1- 9 2nd edition July 2003; Vol 10 1st edition, Sept 2000. Abridged by a group of scholars, under the supervision of Shaykh Safiur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri, who were responsible for translating the commentary, but the translation of the Qur’an is the one from The Noble Qur’an by Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan published by Darussalam, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

·       The Noble Qur’an. Published in nine volumes. Volumes 1-2 no date. Volumes 3-9, 1st edition January 2000. By Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan. This comprehensive work includes commentary from such traditional classical sources as Tafsir At-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, Ibn Kathir and Ahadith from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Published by Darussalam, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

·       Ma’ariful Qur’an. Published in eight volumes. Volume 1, 7th edition 2009. Volume 2 no date. Volume 3, 2008. Volume 4, 2010. Volumes 5-8, 2008. By Maulana Mufti Muhammad Shafi. Translated by Prof. Muhammad Hasan Askari, Prof. Muhammad Shamim, Maulana Ahmed Khalil Aziz and Muhammad Ishrat Husain. Revised by Justice Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. ·       The Noble Qur’an Tafseer-e-Usmani. Published in three volumes. Volumes 1-3 2002. The Urdu translation of The Noble Qur’an which forms the basis of this English translation and commentary was undertaken by the Muslim scholar popularly known as Shaikh-ul-Hind, Maulana Mahmood Hassan, Muhammad Wali Raazi.

He completed the translation of the Arabic verses and also wrote a commentary for the first three parts, Surah Al-Fatihah, Surah Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran. The commentary on the rest of The Noble Qur’an was written by Allama Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, Shaikh-ul-Islam of Pakistan by whose name this exegesis is known. The English translation was undertaken by Maulana Mohammad Ashfaq Ahmad. Published by Idara Isha’at-e-Diniyat (P) (Ltd), New Delhi, India.
