SURAH AL-ANBIYA AYAH 107 "AND WE HAVE SENT YOU (O MUHAMMAD [sall-Allahu alayhi wa-sallam]) NOT BUT AS A MERCY FOR THE ALAMIN"
Before proceeding with a commentary on the importance of Ayah 107 in Surah Al-Anbiya, I would like to mention that there is another Ayah in Surah Al-Anbiya which I have found invaluable over the years in supplicating Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala - glory be to Him, the Most High).
It is Ayah 87, in which the Prophet Yunus ( (alayhi as-salam – may the peace of Allah
be upon him) . cries out to Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala - glory be to Him, the Most High) in anguish while he is imprisoned in the belly of the fish.
I have posted the relevant Tafsir from Ma'ariful Qur'an about the Ayah on this website. The link is Yunus Al-Anbiya 8.
Whenever I recite the relevant words from this Ayah I first recite the four Ayat in the Qur'an which are believed to include Allah's Greatest Name (Subhanahu wa ta’ala - glory be to Him, the Most High).
See my page headed Allah's Greatest Name (Subhanahu wa ta’ala - glory be to Him, the Most High).
